The Pilot Beach Resort has been erected on the most beautiful sandy beach of Georgioupolis, which is stretching over more than 10 km, and close to the picturesque village of Georgioupolis, as well as to the only sweet water lake of Crete, Kournas. Here, the visitor can find all geomorphologic characteristics of the island, concentrated in one comparatively small area: mountains and plains, rivers, lakes and the sea, wild nature and cultivated land. The architecture of the main building combines traditional Cretan elements with distinctive luxury. The bungalow complex, built around the swimming pools and in the blooming gardens or on the beach, offers incomparable Cretan hospitality. The Pilot Beach Resort has 450 rooms, all in bungalow style and with views of the pools or the Cretan sea. Superior Bungalows. Spattered all over the colorful gardens and mostly around the swimming pools are the bungalows, in order to provide peace and quiet for their guests. They are spacious one about 30 sq. m. each, with 2 beds and a sofa, tastefully decorated and furnished. They have views of the pools and of the gardens. The Family Junior Suites are approximately 38 sq. m. each, equipped as the Superior Bungalows but consisting of one master bedroom and a second bedroom that can sleep two more people, with one shared bathroom. The Deluxe Panorama Suites with Pool Views are about 60 sq. m. each and consist of 2 rooms, 1 bedroom and 1 sitting room, bathroom with hydro massage and a large terrace with panoramic views. The Presidential Suite is 120 sq. m. large, luxuriously equipped and tastefully & exclusively furnished. Consisting of three rooms, one with a separate terrace and walk-in wardrobe, a spacious, luxurious sitting room and a big terrace, fully equipped kitchen. Exceptional views of the pool and the White Mountains. Spacious Bungalows with Sea View with approx. 23 sq. m., floor tiles and carpets in soft colors consist of 1 bedroom with 2 beds and a sofa. The Family Bungalows with Sea View are located on the beach, approximately. 28 sq. m. large and consist of 1 bedroom with 2 beds and 2 sofas. Equipped as the Bungalows with Sea View. The Deluxe Panorama Suites with Sea View are approximately. 45 sq. m., tastefully furnished and decorated in soft colors. They consist of 2 rooms, 1 bedroom and 1 sitting room, bathroom and a large terrace with amazing views of the sea. Conferences & Events Our qualified and experienced staff has organized many successful conferences, seminaries and other events. The hotel’s conference facilities can accommodate 15 – 500 persons. Modern technical equipment is available, as well as separate parking spaces, a separate entrance, secretary service, and a hall for coffee breaks. Restaurants & Bars The impressive “Kronos” Central Restaurant is located on the first floor of the main building and has fantastic views over the main swimming pool and the hotel’s gardens to the Cretan sea. It is the main restaurant of the hotel, offering a rich buffet with American style breakfast and unique tastes at dinner. The space is sufficient for serving up to 750 people. “Jalos” Restaurant. Together with magic views of the sea and the seashore pool, here you can try the splendid tastes from the grill, or the magnificent choice of salads, cold and hot snacks, main dishes and fruit, drinks and sweets. Greek Restaurant “Ariadni” is the ideal place to enjoy a variety of Greek specialties in an exclusive surrounding. Here, you can also take part in a lot of special events, organized by the hotel. Children’s Restaurant “Pilot” offers special children’s meals for our little friends (June, July, August and September).
